Harwood Education and UN CC:Learn invite Education Leaders, Decision Makers, Teachers, CSRs and Business Leaders to attend the first eduCCate Global Climate Curriculum Event: Leading the Change! The Climate Curriculum.

We invite you to meet the UN CC:Learn and Harwood Education Team, to absorb our ethos and the Five Phases of the eduCCate Global Programme delivery to every school throughout the United Kingdom and ultimately, to every school throughout the world.

Angus Mackay, Team Leader of UNITAR and UN CC:Learn, will deliver his vision and insights on the Climate Curriculum and Leading the Change!

Melanie Harwood and Denise Meissner, Founders of Harwood Education and Creators of the eduCCate Global Programme, will deliver their strategy and outline to deliver a powerful Climate Curriculum to every child in every school, globally.

With the Phase 1 Launch of the Climate Change Teacher Course, accredited by UN CC:Learn now spreading globally, the focus for UN CC:Learn, in Partnership with Harwood Education, is the delivery of Phase 2, the trial and launch of the eduCCate Global Programme.

Harwood Education and Phase 1 Launch Sponsors, YPO, report on the successful launch of Phase 1:

Teachers have been invited to harness their knowledge and power to become a Climate Change Teacher in their school/community and they have taken this up in a very big way by sharing their personal successes on social media, mainstream media and broadcast media, to their personal networks of teachers worldwide.

The Climate Change Teacher Academy introduces the United Nations Climate Change Learn Courses and accompanying Quizzes to achieve the United Nations Certification of the following courses:

Children and Climate Change

Cities and Climate Change

Human Health

Gender and Environment

International Legal Regime

UN CC:Learn and Harwood Education set out the Launch Process of Phase 2 eduCCate Global:

The trial of the eduCCate Global Programme in 80 UK schools, delivering thousands of cross-curricular lessons and learning content via a closed and safe social media platform, Yahki, to children and students of all age ranges.

Phase 3 eduCCate Global:

The launch and delivery of the eduCCate Global Programme to every school and education outlet throughout the United Kingdom.

Dr Deborah Outhwaite sets out a vision for the Climate Change Teacher Certification within the PGCE Course and as a prescribed qualification for all teachers throughout the United Kingdom, to ensure a powerful and positive Climate Curriculum is delivered in every aspect of education.

The Teams will reveal the processes and timelines of the launch of Phase 2 of the eduCCate Global Programme.

Claire Winter, Peter Ibbetson and Tet Kofi will deliver their vision to engage our next generation of Media Leaders.  The PRforyourschool Programme will support the eduCCate Global Programme and aims to convert each participating school into a PR and Marketing Hub, broacasting the Climate Curriculum to Local Media, Mainstream Media, Social Media, Broadcast Media and Community Leaders, using the latest technology and methods of Creative Communication.
